Brothas & Sistas United for a Cause
I's an orginization built off of old school gang members and people who have had many problems in life who are willing to share their story and help make a difference in Colorado by bringing forth new suggestions and ideas to help our youth of today become a better product of our environment.
My name is Larry Webster founder of Brotha's & Sista's United for a Cause. I'm 40 years old with a past that continues to haunt my future but I'm being strong and determined to give life to the people of the State of Colorado. I truly believe that we as a community can come togather and save our children by forming Colorado's Gentlemen & Womens club which will be built with five young lady's and five young men who will form a fraternity and sorority which will start from fourth grade.
These youth will be overseen by junior high school students who will be overlooked by high school students who will be connected with college fraternities and sororities. With this chain of command in effect I honestly believe our youth will become more alert and aware and even more determined to be successful in school and out because we shall also join our schools and recreations together to make one unit and in doing so our kids will continue to further their education and this is where we as a family and community need to really come together and find a way to put tutors inside our classrooms which I feel our children really need in order to complete one grade and go to the next. I honestly feel that if we were able to place two tutors inside a classroom that has 20 to 30 students then those who need help in certain areas can recieve the attention they really need and then their grades should rise as well as our graduation rate. But with one teacher inside a classroom with lets say 20 students our graduation rate falls to less than half, but with a tutor we shall have more students with 4.0 and 3.5 to 3.0 and a lesser drop out rate. Attention Colorado: we can build money for our youths and at the same time we can help those who chose the wrong path and help them better their life and at the same time help support our youths by playing adult flag football, track and field and basketball. The teams will be formed by the neighborhoods that they represent and the winner will recieve a large hood bragg'n write's trophy.
